This superb trek passes through the Kingdom of Gaddi, a semi nomadic race who spend many months wandering the high pastures with their sheep. You will be treated to spectacular views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, as you trek through local villages, terraced fields, and dense mixed forests of oak, rhododendron, pine and bamboo. At the end of each challenging day, you will be rewarded with different, stunning camping spots, alongside rivers and streams, or deep within magical forests, offering fine bird-watching.

The trek also includes a visit to H.H. the Dalai Lama's monastery and residence in 'Little Lhasa', Dharamsala. This is the site of the Tibetan government-in-exile since the invasion of Tibet in 1959.
